Margaret Westergreen has been mixing tunes for a number of years now. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, she initially entered the dance scene by being involved in events but DJing quickly became a great love. Starting off on vinyl in the genre of deep house with the help of her mentor beatmixing-guru Peter A, she hosted residencies at various restaurant bars (La Coza, Butterfly Bar, Cafe Caprice) and made her mark on various deephouse dancefloors in Cape Town (Sutra, Opium, The Fuse, Blacksheep, Favela, Platform LIVE! parties) and was also part of the Platform Music crew.

Today she has converted to spinning on CDJs with SERATO SCRATCH LIVE and has taken on a unique and intelligent deep electronic sound. She can indulge in and lay out groovy downtempo beats to deep house to tech house and deep techno. Having studied Advanced Music Production at the Soul Candi Institute Of Music in Cape Town, she is also in the studio with her head in the beats as she tackles this exciting world under the alias 'Magique'. The result is a true and honest sound that is an expression of purely her and her love for the more underground side of electronic dance music. Not only does she have a passion for playing good music, she has an even stronger passion for making her own music and is one of the very few female artists in the country to be producing.

In May 2009 she paired up to form the first ever electrifying girl duo DJ act in South Africa 'DIGITAL DIVAS'. This act and brand quickly hit mainstage and festival level and has also headed out of SA borders with their signature big room progressive house sound. With a national tour already under their belts, producing of their own tracks, a live concept show and two radioshows (one on MFM and one on 2oceansvibe Radio), there is no doubt these ladies have dominated the music scene.

The past year has brought on many new ventures for LADY M, playing her sultry sounds at all the hottest happenings in Cape Town such as Sapphire, Blakes Bar, Sotano, ChukkaChurri, The Fez, Trinity, The Loop, Eastwoods, MCQP festival, G Star store, La Senza store, Moyo restaurant, Pacha @ The Grand New Years events, the Red Carpet Fashion Show and many more.  Shes also currently laying the beats down at the Redbull Studios and plans to focus 2012 on studio time and producing.
